Ministries at Our Lady of Grace
Adoration - The Blessed Sacrament is exposed on our altar
from the 8:00 am Mass on Tuesday until the 8:00 am Mass on Wednesday of
every week. Many people take the opportunity to visit Jeus for private prayer
during this time.
Adult Education - Throughout the year various speakers
are brought in to give talks. Father Bill O'Neill offers religious talks
in the evenings in the spring and fall. Anyone interested in instructions
are encouraged to speak with Father O'Neill.
Bereavement - This committee prays for and reaches out
to those who have lost a loved one. They host a special Memorial Service
in November to our deceased loved ones.
Book Rack and Religious Gifts - There is a well-stocked
book rack and a small display of religious articles for sale in the church
vestibule.
Food Pantry - Our parishioners keep and maintain a Food
Pantry to help those in need in our community.
Healing Ministry - Our Healing Ministry meets on the second
Wednesday of every month to pray over and to pray for those that are sick
and suffering. Individuals may have the team members lay their hands on
them for healing. There is time for private reflection.
Marian Movement of Priest Cenacle - They meet on the first
and third Thursdays of every month at 7:30 pm to pray the rosary, the Chaplet
of Divine Mercy and read from Father Gobbi's messages.
Mom's Prayer Group - For home-schooled families and mom's
with young children. They meet the first Thursday of every month at 10:30
am to share ideas and for support.
Tri-County Marian Society and Rosary Makers - The Marian
Society meets on the first Saturday of every month after the 8 am Mass.
They pray the rosary every Thursday at 7 pm at the Shrine for peace. Our
rosary makers have made hundreds of thousands of rosaries that have been
sent all over the world. They are willing to teach anyone interested how
to make rosaries. They repair broken rosaries. Rosaries that cannot be repaired
and costume jewelry are used in making new rosaries. They gladly accept
donations of these items.
Women of Hope - This committee provides women an opportunity
to study scripture, pray together, deepen their knowledge of the faith and
serve the community. They meet twice on month and you have a choice of a
Tuesday afternoon session or Thursday evening session.
These ministries always welcome new members. If you are interested in
join, please contact the office.
